Position Overview
We are seeking a LIMS LabWare Senior Consultant to join our team. As a techno-functional consultant, your role will be crucial in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring our LIMS implementations are not just solutions, but catalysts for efficiency and effectiveness. You will leverage your expertise in LabWare to support innovation and excellence, specifically focusing on bridging technical and functional requirements through advanced configuration and method execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks for new LIMS implementations and enhancements to existing systems.
- Support the team and clients with configuration, business analysis, functional requirements gathering, customer training, and answering support requests.
- Interact with customers to understand business processes and gather functional requirements for LIMS configuration and customization.
- Document system processes and procedures for customer requirements and functionality needs.
- Work independently or with team members to analyze and resolve technical and project-related issues.
- Interface with Project Management to ensure strong communication regarding timelines, deliveries, project issues, and changes.
- Provide assistance and guidance to customers in setup and adding master data to the configuration during implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, life sciences, biology, bioinformatics, chemistry, or a similar field; OR extensive laboratory work experience with LIMS exposure and strong IT affinity.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or laboratory environment. Experience in a GxP regulated setting is a plus.
- Proven experience in LIMS implementation projects (preferably LabWare).
- Strong knowledge of laboratory processes (e.g., Sample management, Lab Material, LAB Instrument Management, Environmental Monitoring).
- Hands-on experience with the LabWare Method Execution module, including method configuration and the implementation of analytical methods using the Method Execution & ELN features.
- Experience with LES implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of SQL / LIMS Basic and scripting within LIMS environments is a plus.
- Strong logical and analytical skills combined with hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- High affinity for IT and data-related activities with an eagerness and self-learning attitude to acquire new knowledge.
