Position Overview
FrontWell Solutions seeks a motivated and skilled (Senior) Solution Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of customized LIMS solutions (Such as LabVantage, LabWare, Sample Manager, Starlims). As a vital link between our clients operational needs and our technical capabilities, you will translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, enhancing client productivity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to design and develop LIMS systems that meet client specifications.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical plans that integrate seamlessly with client operations.
- Develop and enhance interfaces and modules for LIMS platforms, ensuring high functionality and user friendliness.
- Conduct system integration and perform comprehensive functional testing to guarantee system reliability and performance.
- Provide ongoing support and technical guidance throughout the implementation process, ensuring smooth system adoption and functionality.
- Document technical processes and create comprehensive user manuals for client use.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues, maintaining high system integrity and client satisfaction.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in system development, with a preference for backgrounds in LIMS systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of a leading LIMS software platforms and its integration capabilities.
- Significant experience and demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, NativeJS, SQL (or comparable relational database management systems), and Python.
- Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and integrating enterprise solutions.
- In-depth understanding of laboratory workflows, data management, and quality control.
- Proven track record in LIMS customization, deployment, and project management.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business domains.
- Proficiency in the German and English language at B2 level or higher (professional fluency).
- A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements, such as FDA regulations and GAMP 5.

As a Senior Consultant at FrontWell Solutions, you will lead the strategic implementation and management of cutting-edge IT solutions within the manufacturing sector. This role involves close collaboration with clients to understand their operational challenges, providing insightful strategies, and leading the execution of IT projects that elevate manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements, assessing manufacturing processes, identifying improvement areas, and formulating comprehensive IT strategies.
- Translate business requirements into actionable IT solutions, providing technical guidance and leveraging extensive industry and product knowledge.
- Architect and integrate end-to-end solutions involving MES products (PAS-X, Infor, Tulip etc.) and ensure compatibility with existing technologies.
- Manage project lifecycles, including planning, deliverable management, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
- Provide technical leadership during system implementation, customization, and configuration to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Drive innovation by staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices, incorporating them into service offerings.

- Develop documentation, user guides, training materials, and SOPs for implemented solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in manufacturing IT, represent the company at industry events, and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Production Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in IT consulting, with a significant focus on MES and complex projects.

- Deep knowledge of MES (PAS-X/Syncade/Opcenter), ERP systems, and their integration within manufacturing environments.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA regulations, GAMP 5) related to MES implementations.

- Strong track record of delivering large-scale IT projects on time and within budget.
